We recommend a minimum of 6 days for the Kilimanjaro trek.  This allows a full day of acclimatization at/around 12,000ft, and helps ensure your chance of reaching the summit (Uhuru Peak).  Also, it is much safer for you as it reduces the possibility of severe altitude sickness and/or edema.

All of our guides are certified to lead hiking trips on Kilimanjaro and they are registered with Kilimanjaro National Park.  We provide a camp crew to cook all meals while you are on the mountain. You will either sleep in Park huts (on the Marangu Route) or we can provide good weather-proofed tents (Machame and other routes).  We also hire all the porters you need (as required by KNP) to carry your large backpacks, food and charcoal.

The price for the 6 day Kilimanjaro hike includes:

        All Kilimanjaro National Park entrance, camping, rescue and guide fees;

        All ground transportation to/from hotel and KNP gates;

        All food and camp crew to prepare meals;

        Hiring of certified guide and registered porters;

        2-person tents;

        2 nights hotel accommodation (bed/breakfast) before and after the hike;

        all administrative fees.
